Pioneertown, CA with The Litas

Right before the pandemic hit, I had just lined up some really rad shoots with Jess & Ash of The Litas. We had made all kinds of plans for documenting the women who make up this worldwide, motorcycle riding collective. It was tough to shelve those shoots and wait out the unknown. This is the first shoot back and there was such an energized feeling in the air. All of us were vaccinated and able to freely and safely be together. The riders are Sam, Naomi, Sharry, Abz and Jasmine.

I have a special place in my heart for photographing The Litas. These woman inspire me every time. Not just because they are out riding motorcycles but because they have created a supportive and inclusive network of friends who love and lookout for each other.
